We have a number of committees set up currently to improve our neighborhood services and image.  This is another way we are here to serve you, and your needs, with a more direct person to person feeling.

These committees range from creek checks to crime and we are always looking for more individuals to join these committees.

These committees include

• LMC Helps- This committee will help assist the elderly, and those in need "dig out" of a winter storm
• LMC Pride- This committee recognizes the best looking house in the LMC area and rewards them with a gift card (top 5 on each street thanks them for taking pride in the Neighborhood). The worst looking ones gets turned over to the houseing inspector, to follow up, and later issueing a possible fine.
• LMC Pride Holiday Decorations- This committe recognizes the best holiday lights display in the LMC area and rewards them with a gift card.
• Stream Stewards- To check the creek periodically for flooding hazards and to report problems to the right organization, as well as follow up to make sure the problems are corrected
• Street Captains- To deal with problems directly on their streets                 

(street captains currently on Lena, Longmead, Milligan, Erwin, & Astor)

• Crime Committee- Identifies victims of car breakins, house breakins etc.... and keeps track of these issues in our neighborhood.  (If a police report was made, and keeps a log of what happened)
