Under this all new section, we bring you up to speed on where the

Longmead McGowan Connection Block Club stands on certain issues that are affecting us in our neighborhood.  Also where the "others" stand on the same issues, and what they have to say.

LMC Block Club

McGowan Park, We are still fighting for lights over the basketball court (like other parks currently have), to help the police visibility in the park.

Replacement Curbs, We were fighting for new curbs on a number of our streets to keep the people on the road where they belong!  (2 cars allready hit 2 different houses on Lena alone in the past 2 years).

Stop Signs, We also wanted to see more stop signs on some of our streets (total of 5), and one relocated stop sign on Milligan Ave.

The "Others"

McGowan Park, "As of right now their is not enough money in the budget for an improvement like that for that park."

Replacement Curbs, "it is up to the individual home owners to replace the curbs, on average can cost a couple hundred dollars."

Stop Signs, "Through the surveys conducted on those streets, theirs really no need to add more, we have found 1 area of interest on McGowan and will be working to resolve that potential hazard."
